The Only Thing Permanent is Change

Cliché, but true.

We need to understand and accept that everything around us changes. Nothing is forever sure.

You and I are growing old, we can’t stop that.

People come and people go, we can’t control that.

Sometimes circumstances go our way, sometimes they don’t. It’s a balance only God knows for what reason.

We can’t expect to get back everything we give the way we want it to come back.

We can’t expect recognition for every effort we make, or our brilliance to be instantly recognized, or the way we love to be instantly understood or even be immediately reciprocated by everyone.

It’s not in our hands.

Changes – for better or for worse – happen, and we should accept them.

Some wisdom are hard to comprehend, but we have to learn.

There are people we can’t live without, but we have to let go.

Some things come in our life just to strengthen us, so we can move on without them.

As we live on and experience more, we slowly realize what belongs and what doesn’t, what works and what doesn’t, and we learn how to let things go and accept change for what it is.

Not out of pride, inadequacy, or fear, but simply because we are not in control of everything. Only God is.
