"Together you are the body of Christ. Each one of you is part of his body." - 1 Corinthians 12:27As the body is one unit but with many parts, so is the body of Christ, the church. God has united us with other believers through the Spirit. He has brought us together to be the tangible companion and encouragement for one another. Where one rejoices, others rejoice with him. Where one suffers, others would suffer with him.
God made us different from one another to function differently. So as when one is weak, someone else would be his or her strength. All members of the church contributes something of necessity to keep the church at it's best. Our gifts are used not for personal fame but to sincerely help others and have genuine concern and care for others.
