The Bible always prompts us to celebrate the now and
today.
“Now is
the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). “Today,
if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts” (Hebrews 3:15).
God knows we should live in the present, and He
encourages us to make good use of it.
Let us forget the past (except for the lessons) and
don’t worry about the future (but still prepare for it)!
Now, this moment, is a gift from God.
We can waste it with regrets over our past or
worries about our future. We can squander it trying to outrun yesterday’s
miseries. We can ignore it, lost in our wishful thinking.
It’s up to us what to do with the now.
If we would ask God, He would have us make the most
of this moment.
What are you seeking for in the future? Better life?
Better job? Better health? Better relationships? Better opportunities? Personal
growth? Start right NOW!
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, celebrate
the now and stop procrastinating!
Embrace this moment, learn the lessons God requires
of you now. Be faithful with the things God entrusts to you now. Let God’s
presence sustain you through the now’s trials.
Rejoice in the now’s opportunities. Enjoy God’s
presence now!
God said “My name is I am.” He didn’t say “My name
is I was, or I will be.” He is I am! He is now!
God has a great future for you, but you have to live
in the now to get there.
You can trust God with His Word, He is mighty
faithful.
This is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and
be glad in it! Celebrate the moment with God now!
